Following its Indonesian launch, the BYD M6 electric MPV has been launched in Thailand with two variants; the Extended and Dynamic. Prices started from 829,900 baht (approx. RM107k) for the Extended variant and 929,900 baht (approx. RM120k) for the Dynamic variant. Both are 6-seater variants.
The new model shares a platform with the existing BYD E6, but features a distinct design and enhanced performance. Compared to the Indonesian version, the Thai-spec BYD M6 is only available as a six-seater.

The dimensions of the BYD M6 closely resemble the Toyota Innova Zenix, measuring 4,710 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width and a 2,800 mm wheelbase. The Toyota Innova Zenix is slightly larger at 4,760 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width, with a 2,850 mm wheelbase.
Performance-wise, the BYD M6 Dynamic comes with a front-mounted electric motor producing 163 hp (metric) and 310 Nm of torque, while the BYD M6 Extended makes 204 hp (metric) and 310 Nm of torque.

In terms of range, the BYD M6 Dynamic variant features a 55.4 kWh battery, delivering up to 420 km per charge (NEDC), while the BYD M6 Extended variant is equipped with a larger 71.8 kWh battery, providing a maximum range of 530 km (NEDC). The M6 can take up to 7kW AC charging and 115 kW DC charging. With the latter, the M6 can fully charged in around 80 minutes. The BYD M6 supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L), enabling external devices to draw power from the vehicle.
The BYD M6’s exterior comes with a prominent silver bar connecting the redesigned multi-projector LED headlights. The bumper incorporates a wing-shaped insert that seamlessly integrates with the slim air intakes and chrome accents. The rear features a redesigned taillight assembly with a full-width light bar accentuated by a slim chrome strip. Both variants come standard with 17-inch Y-spoke alloy wheels.

Inside, the BYD M6 offers a six-seater layout (2-2-2) with a panoramic glass roof and a 12.8-inch rotating infotainment display that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Other features include a wireless charger and dual-zone air conditioning with PM 2.5 filtration.
Safety-wise, the BYD M6 comes with six airbags, stability control, and a door opening warning. It also includes advanced driver assistance such as autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane centering assist, blind spot monitoring, and automatic high beams.
