The Audi Q8 Sportback 55 e-tron is a premium electric SUV that rivals the like of BMW iX and Mercedes Benz EQE SUV. It is priced at RM480,990 on the road without insurance. Included in the price is the Audi Approved Plus (AAP) warranty, which provides five years of unlimited mileage coverage.
The Audi Q8 Sportback 55 e-tron is a step-up variant to the 50 e-tron model. While bearing the “Q8” moniker, the Audi Q8 Sportback 55 e-tron is a distinct electric model. Its dimensions align more closely with the Q5, rather than the larger Q8 powered by a traditional internal combustion engine.
The Q8 Sportback 55 e-tron gets a dual-motor setup that makes 408 hp (metric) and 664 Nm. It gets a 106 kWh battery pack that gives 600 km of range (WLTP). Its top speed is limited to 200 km/h. As for charging, the Q8 Sportback 55 e-tron can handle 170 kW DC fast charging. With 170 kW fast charging, the 106 kWh battery pack charges from 10% to 80% in 31 minutes.
AC charging is rated at 11 kW, but customers do have the option to upgrade to 22 kW AC charging. With 11 kW AC charging, the 106 kWh battery fully charges in 11 hours and 30 minutes. With the optional 22 kW AC charging upgrade, the 106 kWh battery does it in 6 hours.
Moving inside, the Audi Q8 Sportback 55 e-tron is equipped with Audi’s Multi-Media Interface (MMI) touch response operating system. This is made up of a two-display setup – an upper 10.1-inch display, and a lower 8.6-inch diagonal display. Audi’s Virtual Cockpit Plus with full HD display also comes as standard.
Standard interior features of the Audi Q8 Sportback 55 e-tron include illuminated scuff plates with aluminium inserts, Valcona leather seats with embossed “S” typography, S Line seat inlays, and sports contour flat-bottomed leather-wrapped steering wheel with shift paddles and perforated leather upholstery. There is also a Bang & Olufsen premium sound system, dual-zone climate control, and a glass panoramic roof.

The Audi Q8 Sportback 55 e-tron boasts a striking exterior design, featuring digital Matrix LED headlights with active adjustment and masking, a single-frame projector lighting system, LED taillights, and distinctive door entrance LED projector lights. To enhance aerodynamic efficiency and reduce drag, the vehicle incorporates virtual exterior mirrors instead of traditional side-view mirrors. Completing the exterior package are 22-inch alloy wheels.
As for the exterior colour options, the Audi Q8 Sportback 55 e-tron comes with several exterior colour options like Glacier White, Daytona Grey, Mythos Black, Magnetic Grey, Chronos Grey Metallic, Madeira Brown, Plasma Blue, Soneira Red, and Ultra Blue. As for driver assists, the Q8 Sportback 55 e-tron comes with autonomous emergency braking (AEB), rear collision warning, adaptive cruise control (ACC) with stop and go, lane departure warning (LDW), evasive steering assist, and front and rear cross-traffic alert.
The Audi Q8 Sportback 55 e-tron comes with a standard 2-year unlimited mileage warranty. Customers can opt for a 5-year unlimited mileage manufacturer warranty, an 8-year battery warranty, and 3 years of maintenance via Audi Approve Plus (AAP).
