Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has achieved a significant milestone with the production of its 40,000th Xpander in the country. The company is commemorating this achievement by honouring the proud owner of lucky number 40,000.
The “Drive to Win” campaign concluded with the announcement of the grand prize winner, Zaty Ewany from Selising Pasir Puteh, Kelantan. As the 40,000th Xpander owner, she was awarded a RM10,000 travel voucher. The prize presentation took place at the RIF Auto Sdn Bhd dealership.

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia CEO, Shinya Ikeda stated, “When we launched the Xpander in late 2020, our vision was to create a vehicle that not only meets the diverse needs of our customers but also enriches our owner’s lifestyle. I want to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to our loyal customers, MMM’s business partners, and media friends whose trust and support have been the cornerstone of our success.”
The Mitsubishi Xpander is powered by a 1.5-litre MIVEC naturally-aspirated four-cylinder engine, making 103 hp and 141 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels via a four-speed automatic gearbox.
