Malaysian race car driver, Leona Chin, has further cemented her mark in the world of motorsports. At the recent China Circuit Sprint Challenge (CCSC), the evergreen racer was victorious against nine other top male drivers in China.
Leona’s recent triumph saw her bag multiple wins, in a BMW M235i one-make race held at the Tianjin V1 International Circuit. There were four stages to the one-make race, all of which Leona won despite battling immense competition and technical issues.

Leona’s wins in Race 1 & 2 prompted even more participants to challenge her in the latter stages. The blistering heat and gruelling race conditions did not seem to faze Leona as Malaysia’s motorsport darling went on to dominate Race 3 from start to finish.
With another notch on Leona’s belt, in what has been a long and illustrious race career – spanning more than 10 years- she attributes her recent win to sheer resilience and relentless training.
Following her recent exploits, Leona wants to continue breaking barriers, set new standards in motorsports, and pave the way for young aspiring female racers. Catch Leona in action this August 9 to 11th, at the 2024 Malaysia Championship Series as she pilots a Suzuki Swift for the Castrol Racing team at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit.
