The Zeekr X has just been launched in Thailand. Offered in two variants, namely the Standard RWD and Flagship AWD, the all-electric SUV is priced at THB1,199,000 (approx. RM154,721) and THB1,349,000 (approx. RM174,077).
Built on Geely’s Sustainable Experience Architecture 2 (SEA2) platform, which also underpins the Smart #1, Smart #3, and the Volvo EX30, the Zeekr X measures 4,450 mm long, 1,836 mm wide, and 1,572 mm tall, with a 2,750 mm long wheelbase. This makes it larger than the Smart #1 and Volvo EX30, but smaller than the BYD Atto 3.

On the outside, the Zeekr X in Thailand is fitted with standard features such as LED headlights, LED taillights, a 1.21 m² fixed panoramic glass roof, a powered tailgate, and “frameless” side-view mirrors. Wheel-wise, the Standard RWD variant gets 18-inch units, while the Flagship AWD variant gets larger 20-inch units.
Powering the Zeekr X Standard RWD in Thailand is, as its name suggests, a rear-mounted electric motor putting out 272 hp (metric) and 343 Nm. This allows the all-electric SUV to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds, and achieve an electronically limited 190 km/h top speed.

The Flagship AWD variant sports a dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) electric motor setup, delivering 428 hp (metric) and 543 Nm. This enables the car to catapult from a standstill to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. It also has the same top speed of 190 km/h.
Both variants of the Thailand-spec Zeekr X are fitted with the same 69 kWh battery pack, providing 440 km (WLTP) of range with the Standard RWD variant, and 400 km (WLTP) of range with the Flagship AWD variant due to its more powerful motors.
In terms of charging, both variants of the Zeekr X in Thailand can be charged via AC charging at a maximum rate of 22 kW, and DC charging at a maximum rate of 158 kW. With the latter, the battery pack can be topped up from flat to 80% in under 29 minutes.

Moving inside, the Thailand-spec Zeekr X is packed with standard kits such as the 8.8-inch digital instrument display, the 14.6-inch touchscreen infotainment display which comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, dual-zone climate control, and an augmented reality (AR) head-up display (HUD). The Flagship AWD variant even gets a 13-speaker Yamaha sound system and electric massage seats.
Closer to home, a right-hand drive (RHD) unit of the Zeekr X was spotted on Malaysian roads earlier last month, which possibly suggests its imminent launch here in the country. Zeekr was also reported to have signed an agreement with Sentinel Automotive Sdn Bhd, which will be the brand’s distributor in the country.
