UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) has announced its sales figures for the month of April 2024. With 7,213 units of Toyota vehicles and 132 units of Lexus vehicles sold, UMWT sold a total of 7,345 vehicles in April. As for the year-to-date sales figures, UMW Toyota managed to record 30,789 units sold in the first four months of 2024.
As for the year-to-date sales figures, a drop of 3.5% can be observed for the first four months of the year. However, compared to April 2023, UMW Toyota saw an 8.5% increase in sales in April 2024. In April, UMW Toyota also launched a new version of the Toyota Yaris hatchback called the Toyota Yaris G Limited. With only 600 units available, the Yaris G Limited fetches a price of RM99,600.

In the commercial sector, UMWT has introduced the all-new Toyota Hiace Super Long Wheelbase (SLWB). It features a width of 1,950mm, a height of 2,280mm, and a wheelbase stretched to 3,860mm. The Toyota Hiace SLWB is powered by a 2.8-litre 1GD-FTV turbo-diesel engine, which delivers 177 hp (metric) at 3,400 rpm and 450 Nm of torque between 1,600 to 2,400 rpm.

The Toyota Service Savers program also provides an option for convenient monthly instalments starting from RM31.
