BYD opens new 3S Centre in Melaka, aims to achieve 30 dealerships nationwide by end of 2024



BYD has just opened its newest 3S Centre, situated in the heart of Melaka. Managed by Sing Kwung Motors, the new facility in Melaka aims to provide BYD customers in the region with a range of services, including sales consultations, vehicle test drives, and comprehensive after-sales support.

BYD looks forward to further strengthening its presence in the region of Melaka. BYD targets to achieve 30 network dealerships in Malaysia by the end of 2024.

Since 2022, BYD has launched a total of three models in Malaysia. This includes the Atto 3 SUV, the Dolphin hatchback, as well as the recently launched Seal sedan.

The BYD Atto 3 made its launch in Malaysia with a starting price of RM149,800 (OTR, without insurance), and is offered in two variants – Standard Range and Extended Range. In response to the Chery Omoda E5 launch recently, 2023 model year units of the Atto 3 have been given a RM20,000 discount. Prices for the Atto 3 Standard Range now start at RM129,800 (RRP, not on the road). Note that this discounted price is only for the entry-level Standard Range variant, and is only available while stocks last.

Priced from RM100,530, the BYD Dolphin is also available with two variants with the same names. Positioned as BYD’s current flagship model in Malaysia, the Seal is available in two variants as well, namely Premium and Performance. Prices for the Tesla Model 3 rival start from RM 179,800.
