Check out the Jaecoo J7 in Klang Valley & JB, from now till 19th May

Jaecoo is a new premium brand and a sub-brand of Chery that has just been introduced here in Malaysia not long ago. Earlier this year, the brand previewed its first model set to be introduced to the Malaysian market – the Jaecoo J7, which is scheduled to make its launch here within the first half of 2024.

To build up hype for its upcoming model, the Jaecoo J7 is also being previewed to the public across Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, and Johor Bahru. The date and location-related details of the preview campaign are as follows:

  • Desa Park City, Kuala Lumpur – March 7 to 17, 2024
  • Pavillion Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur – March 19 to 23, 2024
  • One Utama, Petaling Jaya – April 10 to 14, 2024
  • Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur – April 25 to 28, 2024
  • Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru, Johor – May 15 to 19, 2024

Jaecoo describes itself as a brand looking to tap into the potential of Malaysia’s growing urban elite with a taste for off-road adventure. With that, the Chinese carmaker is setting its sights on the growing middle-class consumers in Malaysia, which has an expanding disposable income, starting with the Jaecoo J7.

Jaecoo Malaysia President, Leo Chen, said, “Jaecoo is enjoying a lot of interest here in Malaysia. We believe that the Jaecoo brand is very much in line with Malaysia’s emerging group of trailblazers who enjoy an active lifestyle and appreciate a vehicle that performs on any terrain with an impressive off-road driving experience. And this is exactly what we aim to deliver.”

Hosting members of the media for an Iftar meal in conjunction with Ramadhan recently, Jaecoo Malaysia Vice-President, Emily Lek said, “Jaecoo’s debut is timely as Malaysia experiences growing demand for SUVs. We believe Jaecoo is well positioned as a strong challenger in the C-segment SUV market, in line with the positive sentiments from prospect customers.”
