Leaked: Next-gen Toyota Alphard & Vellfire – The new VIP-mobile?

The 2023 Toyota Alphard and Vellfire are planned to be unveiled in Japan in June this year. However, prior to when we are supposed to see the car officially, photos of the two cars have been leaked online.

The pictures that have emerged online seem to be production versions of the car at some undisclosed production facility. With these leaked images, we can clearly see the design elements of the Alphard and Vellfire without referring to any renders or teaser images anymore.

In the pictures shown, the Alphard is finished in a solid white colour. At the front of the 2023 Toyota Alphard is a grille that is largely similar to the one in the outgoing generation, however, it is now bigger than ever.

A new pair of headlights are also present but looks to be slimmer this time around. The hood of the car looks short and doesn’t seem to be touching the grille and headlights either.

At the back of the 2023 Alphard is the same iconic boxy design, but with newly redesigned tail lights. There is also a large amount of gloss black finishing that houses the Toyota logo, Alphard emblem, tail lights as well as the number plate. The rear hatch is slightly curved right below the tail lights, giving the rear end a bulbous appearance.

As opposed to the white colour of the Toyota Alphard in the images, the Toyota Vellfire is finished in glossy black paint. Like in the past, the Vellfire features a very similar profile to the Alphard but is executed in a sportier manner.

At the front of the Vellfire is a more aggressive-looking grille with lots of horizontal chrome slats. To match the grille, the front bumper of the Vellfire features a chrome surround which houses the fog lights. Unlike the front, the back of the Vellfire features a similar design to the Alphard. Interestingly, the design also resembles a certain generation of the Honda Odyssey.

The Alphard and Vellfire are favourite choices for business owners and even politicians in Malaysia. And if one would be excited about the new 2023 Toyota Alphard and Vellfire, it would be them.
