Set to make its world premiere at the 24-hour race at the Nurburgring on May 20 is the MINI John Cooper Works 1to6 Edition. It is a special edition of the MINI JCW, which, starting from September, will be available in Europe, America, Canada, and Mexico.
The MINI JCW 1to6 celebrates the entry of the MINI John Cooper Works GP into the 24-hour race at Nurburgring with Bulldog Racing. As a special edition of the MINI JCW, the 1to6 Edition can be distinguished by some of its exterior features.
Perhaps the most obvious exterior feature of the 1to6 edition is its Edition-specific centre-running bonnet stripe. That stripe is matches with a Midnight Black body colour, and the car is adorned with its edition logo in red, white and silver. The 1to6 also gets badges on its C pillars, and side cuttles and a waistline finisher in Piano Black. Completing the exterior look of the JCW 1to6 Edition is a set of 18-inch Circuit Spoke rims in jet black.
Powering the Mini John Copper Works 1to6 is still the same 2.0-littre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that outputs 231 hp (metric) and 320 Nm. As for transmission choices, the JCW 1to6 can only be specced with a 6-speed manual transmission only. The 6-speed manual transmission is also the reason behind the “1to6” moniker of the special edition, which MINI says provides an “unfiltered and authentic driving experience”.

Distinguishing features of the 1to6 also continue into the cabin of the car as it gets door sills with an edition-specific 1to6 logo, a 3D-embossed decorative surface on the passenger side, and a “one of 999” black lettering on the left side of the steering wheel. It also gets a gear shifter with red stitching and the lower steering wheel spoke and floormats are adorned with a MINI John Copper Works 1to6 Edition emblem.
