Upon launch of the all-new Toyota Vios, UMW Toyota Motor announced that it has received over 5,000 orders for the all-new Toyota Vios since bookings were made open on February 24, 2023. Available in two variants, the all-new Vios’ prices start at RM89,600.

To recap, all versions of the all-new Toyota Vios is powered by a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder naturally aspirated engine that makes 106 hp and 138 Nm. Paired with the engine is a new CVT from Toyota which drives the wheels via gears at high speeds and a belt at low speeds. It provides 7 virtual gears that drivers can select from with the paddle shifters (G variant only).

The all-new Toyota Vios now fetches a higher starting price but has also introduced new features and improvements to the car. For one, the car is now more fuel efficient, recording 5.2 l/100km of fuel consumption. It also introduces telescopic steering adjustment, a more sophisticated exterior design, a more sophisticated interior design, and a lighter overall weight for the Vios.
To commemorate the all-new Toyota Vios, UMW Toyota Motor will be organizing the ‘Showroom Weekender’ event from March 24 to March 26, 2023. The event will allow you to test drive the Toyota Vios and experience “the joy and freedom of seamless” car ownership. UMW Toyota Motor will be offering exclusive test drive gifts at all showrooms nationwide from 24 till 26 March 2023. With over 5,000 orders so far, reception of the all-new Toyota Vios has been good.
