Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV interior teased ahead of world premiere – no buttons in sight!

Mercedes-EQ. EQE SUV. Interieur. Mercedes-EQ. EQE SUV. Interior.

Next to join Mercedes-Benz’s electric offensive is the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV. Ahead of its world premiere set to take place on October 16, 2022, Mercedes-Benz has provided us with a first glimpse of the cabin of the EQE SUV.

Bathed in Neva Grey and Modern Balao Brown, the interior of the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV is shown with the optional MBUX Hyperscreen in the latest released images. As seen in the EQS sedan, the entire dashboard combines three high-resolution screens under a single glass cover, creating one ultimate widescreen that spans across the cockpit.

Replacing the usual wood trim found in Mercedes-Benz cars is a hybrid trim element that combines wood with fine pigments of aluminium. The laser-cut trim element is given an anthracite 3D relief-look finish. The hybrid trim can be seen on the centre console of the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV.

Five co-ordinated colour combinations underscore the generous sense of spaciousness. The EQE SUV is immersed in a progressive and luxurious world of colour comprising warm and cool tones (e.g. the warm, Modern Balao Brown combines with technoid-looking neva grey and Biscay Blue/black).

Mercedes-Benz says that the EQE SUV boasts the most spacious headroom, legroom, as well as elbow room in its class. Set to make its world premiere on October 16, 2022, technical details of the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV are still scarce at this point. If the EQE sedan specs are anything to go by, it will most likely adopt the same powertrain from the EQE sedan which is either a 402 hp/858 Nm dual motor setup in the EQE 500 4Matic or a 288 hp/565 Nm RWD setup in the EQE 350+.
