Soon to terrorize our roads is the newly launched Mitsubishi Triton Phantom Plus Edition. This new badass version of the Mitsubishi Triton not only comes with aggressive-looking 18-inch black wheels, but it also comes with roof-mounted LED lights, in case your high beams aren’t bright enough. The price of the Triton Phantom Plus Edition is RM 139,700.
Based on the Triton Premium, the Triton Phantom Plus is equipped with Mitsubishi’s Easy Select 4WD system. The flagship Super Select 4WD system remains exclusive to the range-topping Triton Athlete.
Still powered by the same 2.4-litre Turbo Diesel engine, the Phantom Plus churns out 181 hp of maximum power and 430 Nm of maximum torque. The Triton Phantom Plus is only available with a six-speed automatic transmission.

Besides the LED roof lights and the 18-inch gloss black wheels, the exterior of the Triton Phantom Plus is also adorned with ‘Phantom Plus’ decals, rugged wheel arches, a ‘Phantom’ tailgate moulding with a rear spoiler, side door mouldings, and front and rear bumper garnishes with red accents.
On the inside, the Triton Phantom Plus features sporty leatherette seats, carpet mats with red accents, ‘Phantom’ embroidery, and a 9-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
