Hyundai Sime-Darby Malaysia has launched the new Hyundai Palisade available in four different variants starting from RM328,888. The Palisade will be available either as a 7- or 8-seater.
Prices start from RM328,888 for the 8-seater diesel (Exec 8), RM338,888 for the 8-seater V6 (Luxe 8), RM348,888 for the 7-seater Diesel (Exec 7), and RM358,888 for the 7-seater V6 (Luxe 7).
There are two engine options available for the Palisade; a naturally-aspirated 3.8-litre V6 or a 2.2-litre 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine. The turbo diesel variant even comes with additional drive modes including Mud, Sand, and Snow.

EXTERIOR
On the outside, both the V6 and turbo diesel variants are equipped with identical features. The Palisade is fitted with MacPherson struts in the front and multi-link suspension at the rear.

Only the V6 comes with the Hyundai Smart Sense driver assistance and the only way to spot the difference between the V6 and the turbo diesel model is the radar sensor at the front bumper of the V6.
Inside, the Palisade is availabe with three different interior colour schemes – red, black and white. The driver seat comes with 12-way adjustablity while the front passenger seat comes with eight.
Only the 7 seater variants get ventilated seats front and back. As for the 8-seater variants, they’re only fitted with ventilated seats in the front.

As for boot space, the Palisade offers 704-litres of cargo space with the 3rd row seats down. With the 3rd row seats erected, you’re looking at 311-litres.
SAFETY
Safety features in the Hyundai Palisade include Safe Exit Alert and Rear Occupant Alert. All variants come with six airbags, however only the 3.8-litre V6 variants come with the full suite of Hyundai Smart Sense features. They include Forward Collision Warning, autonomous braking, High Beam Assist, Leading Vehicle Departure Alert, Smart Cruise Control, Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Keeping Assist, and Lane Following Assist.
