The 12.12 online shopping holiday is one of the largest online shopping event in our country, which means you’ll probably be drowned by exclusive online deals on the day itself. To stand out from the crowd, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) is celebrating their 12.12 one day earlier on the 11th of December, headlined by a celebrity-hosted “Live With” walkaround on its Instagram page.
The live walkaround event is a “historical first” in the industry, brought to life as a collaboration between Facebook Malaysia and Volkswagen. The celebrities hosting the “Live With” event will carry out a virtual walkthrough of three Volkswagen models, while highlighting key features and answering viewers questions live. By tuning in to watch, you will also stand a chance to win a brand-new iPhone 12!
The event will kick off at 12.30 pm on the 11th of December with the new Passat R-Line, hosted by influencer Clarence Wong. It will be followed shortly at 3.30 pm with actor Pekin Ibrahim, who will be bringing the audience along to discover the all-new Arteon R-Line. Lastly, radio DJ and personality Fara Fauzana will go live at 4.30 pm with the all-new Tiguan Allspace Highline.
“In efforts to adapt to the new normal, Volkswagen has evolved and increased our digital presence. This is evident in our new sales and aftersales offerings,” said VPCM Managing Director, Erik Winter. “With new formats such as Instagram Live With, this will allow us to connect and reach a wider audience regardless of location.”
Aside from the Instagram Live With programme, VPCM is also offering exclusive 12.12 deals for existing Volkswagen owners, similarly one day earlier. Customers who book their service appointment (applicable between 15th to 31st of December) online on the 11th of December will receive exclusive merchandise worth RM170, along with exclusive discounts under the 5 Star Service Campaign.
As for the actual day of the shopping holiday, Volkswagen dealerships will be holding their own celebrations with a nationwide online showroom event from 11 am to 5 pm, where Volkswagen sales consultants will conduct detailed walkthroughs of various VW models.
