This carbon fibre Rolls-Royce “stool” costs RM35k!

As Roll-Royce puts it, “The comfort of the handmade leather seat is no longer confined to the interior of a Rolls-Royce vehicle”.

It’s called the Pursuit Seat, a modern reimagination of the traditional portable seat designed by the Bespoke Collective division at the Home of Rolls-Royce, in Goodwood, West Sussex. It’s basically a Rolls-Royce stool.

“We have applied Sir Henry Royce’s values which is to take the best that exists and make it better,” the company said.

The Pursuit Seat’s main frame is made of carbon fibre and polished aluminium for optimal strength-to-weight ratio. It even comes with a height adjustment feature while the seat is made of the finest leather and is embossed with the Spirit of Ecstacy.

It comes with a case and can be stored at the back of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV.

Here’s what cracked us up; Rolls-Royce said if owners were at “outdoor music festivals or events”, the Pursuit Seat comes with a discrete pocket on the outer leather seat for safe storage of the event tickets.

The bottom of the Pursuit Seat was designed to be flared to offer a solid grip on hard surfaces while a retractable spike underneath it helps keep the Rolls-Royce stool in place on grass and softer ground.

Rolls-Royce also very specifically said, “There’s also a slim aluminium torch finished with the company’s new emblem, stored in the hinge of the seat, to ensure “safe passage back to your car”.

Here comes the price and you best be seated. It costs £6,581 (approx. RM35k) and can be purchased individually or as a pair.
