All new Proton vehicles to come with N95 Cabin Filter

All Proton models will now come with an N95 Cabin Filter

Yesterday, Proton marked the 35th anniversary of the Saga with the launched of the limited run Saga Anniversary Edition. Only 1,100 units will be available, priced from RM39,300.

That’s not all, Proton also announced that all its cars – the Saga, Iriz, Persona and Exora – will be equipped with an N95 Cabin Filter as standard at no additional cost. This follows after the company’s announcement in May that the cabin filter will be fitted as standard in the CKD X70.

For current Proton owners who want to retrofit the N95 Cabin Filter, it’ll cost RM59 excluding labour cost. From now till the 9th of October, Proton is offering a 15% discount for the filter, priced at RM50.15. As for the X70, the N95 Cabin Filter costs RM79 but from now till 18th of August, there’s a 15% discount for it, at RM67.15 excluding labour.

The N95 Cabin Filter can remove 95% of particles larger than 0.3 microns and can remove 98% of PM2.5 dust particles. It serves a barrier against smoke particulates, dust, bacteria and other pollutants for both fresh and recirculated air in the cabin.
