In response to the government’s extension of Movement Control Order (MCO) to the 14th of April, UMW Toyota (UMWT) has announced that all warranties expiring during the MCO period will automatically be extended, through a statement released on Facebook.
Due to the extension of the MCO, all Toyota service centres will remain shut for the rest of the period. As such, UMWT will be offering a warranty extension of 30 days, calculated from the last day of the MCO.
The extension will cover all vehicles purchased from UMW Toyota and its authorised dealers with existing warranties that are valid and expiring during the MCO period.
All service appointments scheduled during the MCO period will be rescheduled after the MCO is lifted, and service centres operations resume.
