This is how you shouldn’t drive your Porsche 911 GT2 RS on the road

Whether it’s the stance, the noise, the performance or all three combined, supercars offer an air of superiority. Even more so after some time spent in it and confidence levels have built up, but there’s always a chance you could be caught off guard.

And that’s exactly what happened in this video. As you can see in his earlier video, the owner of this Porsche 911 GT2 RS, the most powerful 911 to date, has gotten quite confident with his lethal weapon; drifting and sliding along public roads.

In my eyes though, that’s complacency. As the saying goes, with great power comes even greater responsibility and for a car as ridiculously powerful as the rear-wheel drive 911 GT2 RS, one needs to be extra extra prudent and cautious at all times.

That probably slipped the driver’s mind momentarily after his GT2 RS nearly kissed a concrete divider upon initiating a drift. Fortunately, after some steering correction and a tonne of luck, the tyres found traction again and avoided a costly (and an embarrassing) accident.

The car may have been unscathed but the same probably can’t be said about his pants. Mine would’ve miraculously turned brown for sure.
