Video: BMW X4 xDrive30i M Sport in Malaysia, 5 Things To Know

If the BMW X3 doesn’t quite satisfy your taste for a sporty looking SUV and the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe is a tad too dated for you, enter the all-new G02 BMW X4 xDrive30i M Sport and here are things you need to know about it.

Like the G05 BMW X5, the new X4 is also dressed in the full M Sport trim but gets a more modest B48 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder pushing out 252 hp and 350 Nm of torque. Century sprint takes 6.3 seconds and top speed is registered at 240 km/h. A ZF-sourced 8-speed automatic and xDrive all-wheel drive comes as standard here.

Priced at RM380,000 (OTR without insurance), the X4 comes with all the bells and whistles inside and out but unfortunately misses out on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems like AEB, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping aid and the likes. But aside from that, GC Mah’s first impressions of the X4 xDrive30i M Sport of it being a sporty driving SUV should be enough to point buyers to its way.
