The new Toyota Yaris is all the Jazz these days as UMW Toyota finally has a B-segment hatchback competitor. Eu Jin took the Yaris for a quick spin through snaky hills to Janda Baik.
The Yaris is powered by a 2NR-FE 1.5-litre Dual VVT-i petrol engine and Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) with seven virtual ratios. Like most of its competitors, it packs a modest 107 hp and 140 Nm of torque driving the front wheels.
Despite its outlandish sporty design, according to Eu Jin the driving dynamics is not the sportiest in class but makes up for it in superb ride comfort.
