With 1 of 3 Audi models sold globally being an SUV model, Audi Malaysia has reshuffled its product line up to be a “Q” centric one. The all-new Audi Q2 1.4 TFSI is now the most affordable new Audi in Malaysia.
The Malaysian market gets only one engine variant, a 1.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder TFSI engine that pumps out 150 hp and 250 Nm of torque. Drive is channelled to the front wheels via a 7-speed S Tronic dual clutch allowing the Q2 1.4 TFSI to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds onwards to a top speed of 212 km/h.
Despite being fully imported from the home of Audi in Ingolstadt, Germany, the Q2 1.4 TFSI is priced very competitively at RM219,900. Undercutting even some of its locally assembled rivals by a fair bit.
