Volvo Car Malaysia (VCM) has just announced their latest price list with the Sales and Services Tax (SST) applied. Interestingly, VCM’s full range of locally assembled vehicles (CKD) did not see any revision in price compared to when 6 per cent Goods and Services Tax (GST) applied.

Even the locally assembled T8 Twin Engine variants (PHEV) are priced the same as before when GST was applied. Other premium brands experienced a downward revision for CKD vehicles while fully imported models CBU) are pricier compared to GST times.

While many might raise an eyebrow against VCM for not bringing down the prices, the good news is you do not have to fork out additional money for a new Volvo.
