The facelifted 2019 Kia Sorento was recently unveiled and Kia Motors America was eager to show off its off-road prowess by making it go through the Gates of Hell, literally, in the baron lands of Moab, Utah.

The updated Kia Sorento features redesigned front and rear bumpers, new LED headlamps and tail lights and new wheel designs ranging from 17-inch to 19-inch in diameter.

As for the Sorento in the video, the only modifications made to it were a set of all-terrain tires, a skid plate under the oil pan along with disconnected sway bars.

Watch as the facelifted Sorento, with its AWD system, tackles the rocky terrains of the Gates of Hell with relative ease despite its size and weight. Locally, Naza Kia Malaysia is offering the Kia Sorento 2.2 CRDi in the highest specification for RM192k.
