The next-gen Hyundai Veloster sounds pretty darn mean! [+Video]

Hyundai Motor Group has just teased their next-generation Hyundai Veloster in a YouTube clip complete with the car’s soundtrack. Based on the sound alone, we are loving the car already.

In the 51 second clip, we can see the all-new Veloster in full camouflage taking off into the night, giving us a taste of what is to come with the next-gen sporty hatchback. The black painted alloys matched with the red painted calipers, central-mounted dual-exhaust outlet and a rear diffuser gives us all the reason to believe that this is the hotter Turbo variant.

When the Veloster first made its global debut in 2011, Hyundai wanted to give customers the best of both worlds – the sleek roofline of a coupe but all the practicality of a hatchback which results in a three-door hatchback design. Fun fact, the name Veloster was conceived by combining “Velocity” and “Roadster”.

Hyundai has confirmed that the second-generation Veloster will make its global debut at the 2018 North American International Show in January.
