Kia Stinger GT to be modified by West Coast Customs, due for SEMA Auto Show

While it’s still uncertain when the Kia Stinger GT would make its debut in Malaysia, if ever, it recently went on sale in the UK at a retail price from £31,995 (approx RM180k) to £40,495 (approx RM228k) with deliveries starting in early 2018.

Officially the fastest Kia in the world, with over 365 hp and 510 Nm of torque from a 3.3-litre twin turbo V6 engine in the highest spec GT, along with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo model.

Both would be paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox where the more powerful Stinger GT will take a mere 4.9 seconds to a 100 km/h from standstill.

Like the extreme Hyundai IONIQ and the boy-racer Elantra Sport we recently featured, the Stinger GT too will be displayed at Kia’s booth in typical SEMA form and fashion after Kia teamed up with our childhood favourite West Coast Customs to show off a uniquely-modified version.

Aesthetically, the all-new fastback sedan will be enhanced with a gloss black front grill, a carbon fibre aero kit, widebody fender flares and a rear diffuser. It will also be fitted with lowered suspension, sitting on 21-inch forged wheels and squared quad exhaust tips.
