Honda is all geared up for the 67th Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA) to unveil the company’s next steps in Electric Vision, starting with the world premiere of its first electric vehicle for Europe, the Honda Urban EV Concept.
The new Urban EV Concept is said to set the foundation for a future production model, but whether it will make it to the production line remains to be seen. No other information was released but the term “Urban” is highly suggestive of a compact model for the city, presumably to challenge the likes of Nissan Leaf and Renault Zoe.
Alongside the new concept, Honda will also be showcasing the CR-V Hybrid Prototype, marking the European-market debut of the fifth-generation SUV. Besides that, the facelifted Jazz and diesel-powered Civic FC hatchback will also make its public debut at the 2017 IAA.
