Over 50 percent of Audi A4 customers in the UK purchased the Black Edition when it was introduced to the B8 model. So it’s back, naturally, by popular demand, and the stealthy trim can be opted across the entire A4 B9 lineup.
The Black Edition variant comes with 18-inch 10-spoke gloss black alloy wheels (as depicted in the pictures here), upgradable to the 19-inch five-arm rotor alloys finished in matte titanium. The chrome bits on the outside such as the Singleframe grille and window surrounds are all finished in titanium black. This extends to the side mirrors, side skirts, rear spoiler (for the sedan), air intakes and roof rails (Avant).
All Black Edition A4s get flat-bottomed steering wheel with piano black inlays, acoustic front side windows and tinted rear windows. Back at home, Audi Malaysia is currently selling three variants of the ninth-generation Audi A4 – 1.4 TFSI (RM218,900), 2.0 TFSI (RM248,900) and 2.0 TFSI quattro (RM314,900).
