Omoda Jaecoo Malaysia has unveiled Gen-O Malaysia, a lifestyle community hub created to bring together existing and future owners.
The establishment of this new owners’ club aligns with the customer engagement strategy of the company, where ‘O’ represents oxygen, and ‘Moda’ is inspired by modern fashion, providing a platform to connect through shared interests and curated experiences spanning travel, culture, fashion and leisure. Members will get exclusive invitations to community events, lifestyle collaborations and unique perks that extend well beyond the car itself.
Chery Corporate Malaysia Executive Vice President, Men Lin Bo said, “Gen-O is a lifestyle community established for Omoda owners to connect, forge friendships and share experiences that embody the spirit of the brand.”
“At Chery Corporate Malaysia, we aspire to deliver more than quality vehicles. Whether customers drive an Omoda, Jaecoo or Chery model, we are committed to providing an ownership journey defined by confidence, peace of mind and memorable experiences,” he added.
Aside from the debut of the new owners’ community, the company also previewed the Omoda C7, a C-segment SUV slated to make its market debut in the coming months. The model was previously showcased at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025 and features a bold design with a front grille reminiscent of the Lexus spindle grille and minimalist aesthetics.

Powertrain details are not revealed, but we guess it shares the same 1.6-litre turbocharged inline-four mill as seen on its Jaecoo J7 cousin, which pumps out 197 hp and 290 Nm, with power sent to either the front or all four wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
The Omoda C7 is also offered as a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain, which is likely to share the same setup found on the Jaecoo J7 PHEV, featuring a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired to a traction motor and a dedicated hybrid transmission, but here slightly uprated to make a combined total system output of 360 hp and 530 Nm.
