Jetour Auto Malaysia has officially opened bookings for the Jetour T2 i-DM, the brand’s first plug-in hybrid (PHEV) model in the country. Previewed for the first time at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) 2026, the SUV is estimated to be priced from RM168,888.
As its name suggests, the biggest highlight for the Jetour T2 i-DM is its new plug-in hybrid powertrain (i-DM standing for intelligence dual mode). Under the bonnet is a 1.5-litre dedicated hybrid engine paired with two electric motors and a three-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT), producing a combined 360 hp and 610 Nm of torque.
With power sent to all four wheels (AWD), Jetour claims the electrified powertrain delivers a total driving range of up to 1,200 km, while its battery pack provides an electric-only range of over 100 km.
Apart from that, the car should seem rather similar to the pure internal combustion engine (ICE) Jetour T2. The car features a rugged-inspired exterior styling characterised by boxy proportions and short front and rear overhangs. Ways to tell it apart from the ICE version are the additional charge port on the rear right of the vehicle, as well as the blue i-DM badging on the tailgate.

Inside, it is once again largely unchanged — featuring a 10.3-inch digital gauge cluster that’s paired with a 15.6-inch centre infotainment screen. Notable creature comforts include a Sony sound system, leather upholstery, and a panoramic sunroof. Exclusive to the Jetour T2 i-DM PHEV is the addition of a crystal gear shift knob.
Jetour says the new T2 i-DM will be equipped with a suite of intelligent safety and comfort technologies, including ADAS Level 2 driver assistance, six SRS airbags, and a panoramic view monitoring system for added peace of mind.
The company adds that “a comprehensive ownership and warranty package” will be included in the price. For context, the ICE T2 comes with a seven-year/150,000 km vehicle warranty and a 10-year/1,000,000 km engine warranty.
