Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has announced that the all-new Mitsubishi Xforce is now receiving registration of interest (ROI), with order books for the upcoming B-segment SUV opening in early February 2026. Interested customers can register via the official MMM website, linked here.
The move follows recent spy shots showing two units of the uncamouflaged Xforce units at a storage yard, signalling an imminent market launch. The Xforce made its global debut at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) as the successor to the Mitsubishi ASX, which was discontinued in Malaysia back in 2021.
Dimension-wise, the Xforce measures 4,390 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width, and 1,660 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,650 mm. Compared to the Honda HR-V and Proton X50, the Mitsubishi Xforce offers the largest overall dimensions.
The design of the Xforce features the latest iteration of Mitsubishi’s Dynamic Shield language, with unique T-shaped headlights and taillights. Based on the spyshots, the Malaysian-spec Xforce largely mirrors the Indonesian model but adds an “XFORCE” wordmark on the front bonnet, a design first introduced on the Thai-market hybrid variant, alongside a new rear spoiler.

Inside, the Xforce features an 8.0-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch central infotainment screen. The display offers various off-road themes that pay homage to the Mitsubishi Pajero, including a digital compass, elevation visualiser, and tilt angle gauge. The system also supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Globally, the Mitsubishi XForce is available with two distinct powertrains: a conventional petrol unit and the new e:Motion hybrid system. For the Malaysian market, however, expect the initial line-up to lead with the pure-petrol variant. This 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine produces 105 hp and 141 Nm, driving the front wheels via a CVT gearbox. In contrast, the electrified Thai-spec variant utilises a 1.6-litre engine paired with an electric motor to deliver a combined 116 hp and 255 Nm of torque.
