Suzuki Cars Malaysia today has launched the new 2026 Suzuki Jimny with a new suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Priced from RM158,900 on the road and without insurance, the new Jimny is available in two variants, the more conventional AllGrip Plus and the Rhino Plus.

Previously, the Suzuki Jimny was only available with rather basic safety features such as two airbags (one for the passenger and driver), anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic stability program (ESP), and Brake Assist (BA).
With the new update, the new 2026 Suzuki Jimny not only gets more passive safety features, but it also benefits from a more comprehensive array of ADAS systems such as Lane Departure Prevention (LDP), Weaving Alert (WA), and even Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC). standard safety features are as such:

Those who opt for the Rhino package will be restricted to only Kinetic Yellow, Chiffon Ivory Metallic, and Pure White Pearl.

Inside, the new 2026 Suzuki Jimny still continues to feature the same rugged and utilitarian vibe. One thing to note, the new model year now receives a larger 9-inch centre infotainment screen — an upgrade from the 7-inch system on previous model years. Standard interior equipment includes:

Powering the Suzuki Jimny is a familiar 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine producing 102 hp and 130 Nm of torque. Power is sent to its part time four-wheel-drive (4WD) system via a four-speed automatic gearbox, no manual this time. This allows for a 0-100 km/h time of 17.2 seconds and a top speed of 140 km/h.
The new 2026 Suzuki Jimny is priced from RM158,900 for the Jimny AllGrip Plus, to RM173,900 Jimny Rhino Plus. Included in the price is a 3-year or 100,000 km vehicle warranty.
