2026 Ford Everest Platinum launched in Malaysia – 2.0L i4 and 3.0L V6 turbodiesel variants, from RM349k


Ford Malaysia has launched the 2026 Ford Everest Platinum in Malaysia with two engine options; the Platinum 3.0L and the Platinum 2.0L. Now offered alongside the Sport, Trend, Titanium and Wildtrak, the Platinum will stand as the new flagship variant and is priced from RM348,888 on the road and without insurance. 

Ford Everest Platinum 2.0L – RM348,888

Ford Everest Platinum 3.0L – RM430,888

Just like the Ranger Platinum, the 2026 Ford Everest Platinum adds an array of equipment to signify its higher-end positioning. As always, the car features seven seats with a 2+3+2 seating layout. Notable additions include performance LED projector lights, wheel sizes up to 21 inches, and platinum badging above the grille, the tailgate, and door sides. Standard exterior equipment on the Ford Everest Platinum includes:

  • 20-inch dual-tone alloy wheels
  • Performance LED projector lights with Matrix headlamps and auto highbeam 
  • C-Clamp LED daytime running lights 
  • LED foglights 
  • Power folding sidemirrors 
  • Puddle lamps
  • Silver Matte side steps
  • Black Stand-off Roof Rails

The Platinum 3.0L adds:

  • Larger 21-inch dual-tone alloy wheels
  • Bonnet “PLATINUM” lettering 

The 2026 Ford Everest Platinum is available in four colours: Acacia Green, Meteor Grey, Absollute Black, and Arctic White. The latter only exclusive to the Platinum 2.0L variant. 

Inside, it’s just as you’d expect from a Ford Everest, featuring a 12.4-inch TFT digital instrument cluster paired with a 12-inch centre infotainment screen with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Being of the Platinum trim, it benefits from several additions to spruce up its interior. This includes:

  • 12-inch touchscreen head unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
  • 12.4-inch TFT digital instrument cluster
  • 8-speaker sound system 
  • Leather-wrapped steering wheel 
  • Quilted leather upholstery with “PLATINUM” badging

The Platinum 3.0L adds:

Interestingly, the Ford Everest Platinum is offered with two powertrain options: a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine and a 3.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine — the latter making its debut on the Everest in Malaysia for the first time. 

The 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel variant produces 250 hp and 600 Nm, with drive provided by a 10-speed automatic transmission with an eShifter. For added capabilities, it also features an ElectroMagnetic Transfer Case (EMTC) and a full-time four-wheel drive (4WD) system — the latter alowing for four drive modes: 4A, 4H, 4L, and 2H. 

As for the 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbodiesel variant, it produces 170 hp and 405 Nm. Power is also transferred via a 10-speed automatic transmission, but this time featuring part-time 4WD with only three drive modes: 4H, 4L, and 2H. Across both model , Six selectable drive modes: Normal, Eco, Tow/Haul, Slippery, Mud/Ruts and Sand. 

In the safety department, the Ford Everest Platinum comes standard with the brand’s full suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Notable features include Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go, Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, and Forwrad Collisiopn Warning with Brake Support. Standard safety features are as follows:

The Ford Everest Platinum has now been launched in Malaysia with a starting price of RM348,888 on the road and without insurance. Included in the price is a 3-year/100,000 km manufacturer warranty. Customers can also add an additional 2-year/60,000 km warranty on top of that.
