Sime Darby Motors has just launched Drivecare, its multi-franchise one-stop service centre, designed to cater to the needs of car owners across all segments and brands. The first two Drivecare service centres are located at Lot 33 Glenmarie and Chan Sow Lin, with their doors already open to serve customers.
The new service centre operates within the facility of Sime Darby Motor’s pre-owned vehicle brand, Sime Darby Auto Selection. This helps provide pre-owned vehicle buyers with more seamless service and support. Sime Darby Motors is also planning to open its third service centre in Penang.

The Drivercare service centre in Chan Sow Lin currently has a total of six service bays, with plans to expand to more soon. With its current facilities and manpower, the Chan Sow Lin Drivercare service centre is capable of catering to up to 15 cars daily. Brands like Liqui Moly and Brembo are Drivecare’s official parts brand partners.
To commemorate the launch, Drivecare is offering a series of special promotions, from June 26 to July 31, 2024. These include complimentary vehicle inspections, a 20% discount on parts and labour charges, and a complimentary set of wiper blades with every windscreen replacement.

All services during the promotional period will also include a complimentary car wash and a free Liqui Moly product. In addition, Drivecare is also offering a limited-time promotion for customers servicing two vehicles. The first 100 customers who bring a second car for servicing will enjoy a 50% discount on engine oil (subject to terms and conditions). This offer is valid only for vehicles registered under the same owner.
Sime Darby Motor’s pre-owned vehicle brand, Sime Darby Auto Selection will also help complement Drivecare by allowing the new service centre to operate within the Auto Selection facility. This is to help ensure seamless service support for pre-owned vehicle buyers. The company says Drivecare has been created to tackle common frustrations faced by customers at many vehicle service workshops, such as inadequate facilities and workmanship, subpar customer service and lack of comfortable waiting areas.

Sime Darby Motors is targeting to expand Drivecare across South Asian markets as well. This will be followed by a rollout throughout Sime Darby Motors’ operations across the Asia Pacific region.
Sime Darby Motors Managing Director, Andrew Basham said, “Drivecare reflects our commitment to widening access for Malaysians to top-notch vehicle care. By combining unparalleled service quality with great value, we aim to provide car owners with seamless and exceptional experience. Drivecare is poised to set a new benchmark for excellence in aftersales service.”
