In the performance department, the Toyota Yaris G Limited in Malaysia is equipped with some performance parts for improved handling. Aside from this, Toyota has also added a throttle controller to improve the pedal input-to-output ratio. This is said to not only result in better engine response but also improve horsepower and enhance accelerations. Despite that, the Yaris G Limited’s 2NR-FE 1.5-litre inline-4 engine continues to output 107 hp (metric) and 140 Nm, just like in the regular Yaris.
There is also a cold air intake added into the engine bay of the Yaris G Limited. By helping with feeding the engine with more cold air that has higher oxygen volume and density. This aids in providing greater combustion efficiency, and help improve the vehicle’s “acceleration feel”.
Performance-related details of the Toyota Yaris G Limited in Malaysia are as follows:
- Engine: 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated Dual VVT-i inline-4
- Max. Power: 107 hp (metric)
- Max. Torque: 140 Nm
- Transmission: CVT
- Added performance parts: chassis brace, performance shock absorbers, throttle controller, and cold air intake

Inside, essentially no changes have been made to the Toyota Yaris G Limited as compared to its “regular” siblings. The hatchback continues to carry equipment such as a 9-inch head unit display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a wireless mobile charger, along with one USB-A port up front and two USB-C ports at the back. There is also a front-driving video recorder (DVR) thrown in as standard.
Safety-wise, the Toyota Yaris G Limited in Malaysia is packed with the Toyota Safety Sense suite, which features pre-collision braking (PCB), and lane departure alert (LDA).
