Maserati has just introduced the limited edition Maserati Levante Trofeo Launch Edition where only 100 units are available worldwide with three allocated for the Malaysian market.
Prices start from RM838k before you take into account taxes, duties and customisation but what you’re ultimately getting for that enormous price tag is a sports car disguised as an SUV.
That’s because there’s 590 hp and 730 Nm lurking under the vented front hood that’s home to a Ferrari-sourced 3.8-litre engine paired to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. As a result, 0 to 100 km/h takes just 3.9 seconds!
This being the Launch Edition, you get carbon fibre air slats on the front bumper, a carbon fibre front lip, carbon fibre side skirts and a carbon rear diffuser housing four tail pipes.
The Launch Edition also includes the 22-inch Orione alloy wheels, Trofeo wording on the Trident emblem by the C-pillar and is only available in Blu Emozione Matte (blue), Giallo Modenese (yellow) and Rosso Magma (red) just in case you get confused for a standard Levante Trofeo.
