Pirelli has launched the Cinturato Rosso with Seal Inside technology in Malaysia. This new variant joins the existing Cinturato Rosso line-up, which was introduced back in 2022, offering an additional layer of puncture-sealing capability.
Available for the replacement market in sizes from 16- to 23-inches, prices for the new range start from RM400. These options cater to a wide range of vehicles, spanning from sedans to crossovers and SUVs.
The Seal Inside feature allows the tyre to maintain air pressure even after being impaled by an external object, effectively sparing the driver from an emergency roadside stop.
While it retains the standard Cinturato Rosso’s noise-reducing central rib and fully grooved tread, the new variant was developed using virtual reality and artificial intelligence (AI).
Pirelli claims this digital approach allowed them to skip most of the physical prototyping, using AI to optimise material selection and design in a much shorter timeframe.
