Zeekr 7X pricing revised for 2026 in Malaysia – now from RM183k with tax, up to 1.8% hike

Following the conclusion of tax and duty exemptions for fully imported (CBU) EVs, Zeekr Malaysia has now announced updated 2026 pricing for the Zeekr 7X. The new prices apply to 2026 units (stocks for 2025 units has depleted, the company says) and are as follows:

  • Zeekr 7X RWD Standard – RM182,800 (up from RM179,800)
  • Zeekr 7X RWD Long Range – RM193,800 (up from RM190,800)
  • Zeekr 7X AWD Performance – RM230,800 (up from RM226,800)

The new prices represent a maximum increase of 1.8% compared to the previous tax-exempted rates, resulting in a RM3,000 to RM4,000 premium depending on the variant. Zeekr says the “minimal price adjustments” is a reflection of its “commitment to Malaysian customers and the brand’s long-term strategy locally”.

“The modest 1.8% pricing increase allows us to stay competitive without compromising on premium technology, high quality, or the overall ownership experience Zeekr is known for. We look forward to expanding our portfolio this year, and we will share more updates in due course,” Zeekr Malaysia General Manager, Eddy Lu, said in a statement.

The pricing revision is currently exclusive to the 7X. Pricing for the Zeekr X and Zeekr 009 remains unchanged until 2025 stocks are depleted.

In Malaysia, the Zeekr 7X is available with two battery options. The range begins with the RWD Standard variant, which features a 75 kWh lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack, providing a WLTP range of 480 km.

This battery powers a rear-mounted electric motor producing 421 hp (310 kW) and 440 Nm, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in 6.0 seconds. Built on an 800V architecture, charging is supported at 22 kW AC and up to 450 kW DC, with the latter allowing a 10-80% recharge in 10.5 minutes.

The RWD Long Range variant features a larger 100 kWh nickel-cobalt-manganese (NCM) battery. This increases the WLTP range to 610 km (WLTP) while it utilises the same powertrain as the RWD Standard. While AC charging remains at 22 kW, DC charging capacity is 420 kW, resulting in a 10-80% recharge time of 16 minutes.

The top-spec AWD Performance variant uses the same 100 kWh battery but adds an electric motor to the front axle. This increases the combined output to 646 hp (475 kW) and 710 Nm of torque. This variant completes the 0-100 km/h sprint in 3.8 seconds and has a rated WLTP range of 543 km.
