The upcoming Zeekr X facelift, set for a debut in China on 5th November 2025, will be receiving a power boost. This was according to regulatory filings with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), which revealed the new performance figures for the two variants in China.

Both variants – in Rear-Wheel Drive and All-Wheel Drive guises – of the facelifted Zeekr X will feature a more powerful rear motor, which now makes 334 hp (250 kW), up from the 272 hp (200 kW) unit in the pre-facelift model, CarNewsChina reports.

Thanks to the beefier rear motor, the AWD variant of the Zeekr X also now makes a combined 496 hp (365 kW), which is a healthy increase of 68 hp over the outgoing AWD variant. According to D-Auto, the 0-100 km/h time for the AWD variant is now at 3.7 seconds – 0.1 seconds faster than the pre-facelift car, but top speeds remain the same at 190 km/h for both variants.

While specific battery capacity figures remain undisclosed, MIIT filings revealed the RWD variant will use a battery pack of lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry, while the AWD variant’s battery will be nickel manganese cobalt (NMC). Both battery packs are reported to offer increased range compared to the current Zeekr X, which achieves 440 km (WLTP) for the RWD and 420 km (WLTP) for the AWD, both equipped with a 66 kWh battery.

Styling changes are notably subtle, with the facelifted Zeekr X receiving a major functional upgrade: powered doors, mirroring the setup found on the Zeekr 7X. The new powered doors have further elevated the minimalist styling of the X’s exterior, with the doors now accessed via discreet buttons located on the B-pillar for the front doors and on the rear door panels themselves.

Elsewhere on the exterior, the Zeekr X facelift gains a new “Seattle Green” paint job, with a matte finish and is paired with a black painted roof for a dual-tone look. The charging port flap has also been upgraded from a manual unit to a powered flap.

D-Auto also reports that the interior of the facelifted Zeekr X will feature a 14.6-inch infotainment display powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chipset, and can be adjusted up to 353 mm towards the front passenger.

We will have to wait until the market launch of the facelifted Zeekr X on November 5, 2025, for more details. Closer to home, the Zeekr X – in its pre-facelift guise – is available in two variants in Malaysia: Premium RWD and Flagship AWD, priced at RM155,800 and RM172,800, respectively.
