Upcoming 2025 Zeekr 7X facelift spotted in China with fresh design – faster charging, more power rumoured

We have previously reported that the Zeekr 7X is set to receive an update with more power and range – but it seems that’s not all, as recent spy images shared by SugarDesign on Weibo reveal that the model is seemingly set for a full facelift refresh, with several units spotted on a trailer sporting a new look.

At the front, the upcoming 2025 Zeekr 7X facelift will feature a smaller central intake complemented by new side vents, presumably for improved airflow. Chrome trims have been added to the front, side, and rear skirtings, and are accompanied by a new dual-tone multi-spoke rim design.

At the rear, the most noticeable change is the repositioned license plate housing, which now sits on the tailgate itself below the tail lights, instead of on the bumper. The rear bumper has also been refined with slimmer black claddings, while the secondary lights have been relocated to the body-coloured sections for a more sophisticated look.

The facelifted models are expected to get a power bump while retaining rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) options. According to filings with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), RWD variants will produce 503 hp (up from 421 hp), while AWD versions gain a 292 hp front motor (up from 224 hp), for a total output of 795 hp (up from 646 hp).

The report also mentions that the car will feature a smaller 75 kWh battery offering a CLTC-rated range of 600 km to 620 km. A larger 103 kWh battery will also be available, delivering a CLTC-rated range of up to 802 km, depending on the powertrain configuration.

The new Zeekr 7X facelift will also reportedly benefit from a 900-volt architecture, which could enable faster charging of up to 1,320 kW, improved efficiency, and better overall performance.
