Bentley has one of the richest heritage in the automotive world, and introducing any changes with such a legacy is no easy feat – remember what everyone said about Jaguar. Luckily, the EXP 15 concept – unveiled today – still stays true to its roots, even when it marks a bold evolution in the brand’s design language.
The new Bentley EXP 15 concept comes in the form of a raised, three-seater, luxury electric vehicle (EV) limousine. As a concept, it won’t be going on sale but hints at what future Bentley cars are going to look like. Rumours point to a mid-sized electric SUV, possibly arriving as early as 2026, that could slot below the Bentayga in the line-up.
Its exterior is inspired by the 1930 Bentley Speed Six Gurney Nutting Sportsman coupe, also known as the “Blue Train”. The car measures over five meters long and inherits the stately look of previous Bentley cars, with its long bonnet and pronounced shoulder line that leads elegantly to the taillights.
Being an EV, the front grille has been closed off, but Bentley took this as an opportunity to “create a piece of digital art” along with its new emblem. The front features a double-layered illuminated grille, highlighted by a central vertical light strip that echoes the shape and detailing of classic Bentley designs.

Along the sides, the EXP 15 features a pair of vents behind the front wheel arches that help channel airflow, while two active spoilers at the end of the sloping roofline and active rear diffusers beneath the lip enhance aerodynamic performance. One standout feature of the Bentley EXP 15 is its Pallas Gold paint, made with an ultra-thin aluminium pigment that conceal radar sensors behind the body panels without compromising signal quality.
The EXP 15 concept features three doors, just like the Hyundai Veloster. Inspired by the 1930 “Blue Train”, it also comes with a three-seat layout inside with the driver seated alone, and the rear opposite-side passenger treated to all the legroom. This rear seat can also rotate up to 45 degrees for easier entry and exit, and it adjusts based on the selected drive mode to suit different moods.

The interior features a wing-shaped dashboard that seamlessly integrates digital and physical elements. Dubbed “Magical Fusion”, it is an update to Bentley’s “Rotating Dashboard” that reveals the infotainment display and can rotate back to either analogue dials or a wood panel whenever not in use.
The EXP 15’s dashboard doubles as a digital infotainment interface or switches off to reveal veneered wood beneath the glass. At its centre sits the “Mechanical Marvel” — a clock-like device that displays direction, charge status, and more, or simply serves as an art piece.

Down the central armrest is an atmospheric lamp and fridge to store cold drinks, which slides out along with two cushions when the tailgate opens — transforming it into a luxurious picnic area. As you’d expect, Bentley doesn’t skim on materials as the interior is trimmed generously with 3D-printed titanium finishes, luxurious wool textiles, and silk sourced from a fabric supplier to the Queen of England.
Bentley has yet to reveal specific details about what powers the EXP 15. While the concept won’t enter production, it serves as a clear preview of the brand’s future design language, and we can’t wait to see what’s next.
