Zeekr has just previewed its third model for the Malaysian market, the Zeekr 7X, at the ongoing Malaysia Autoshow 2025 that will take place this weekend in MAEPS. The electric SUV with frameless windows made its right-hand drive debut in our northern neighbours, Thailand, and will make its way onto Malaysian roads in Q3 2025.
Zeekr Malaysia has announced indicative pricing for the Zeekr 7X as follows, although these will be exclusive to the first 500 bookings only:
- RWD standard – RM182,000
- RWD Long Range – RM195,000
- AWD Performance – RM230,000

In other markets, the 7X is available with two different battery packs; one being the lithium iron phosphate (LFP) ‘Golden Brick’ for entry-level variants, and the other a ‘Qilin’ nickel manganese cobalt pack.
The Golden Brick is a 75 kWh unit with an estimated range of up to 480 km, while the latter 100 kWh Qilin will take you 615 km, both based on the WLTP cycle.

Go with the smaller battery and you’ll get a single, rear-mounted electric motor pushing 421 hp and 440 Nm of torque to the wheels. The larger battery pack can be had with the same configuration, or an optional AWD layout with a motor in the front that makes a combined 646 hp and 710 Nm of torque that is rated for a driving range of 543 km.
One of the key features of the Golden Brick pack is the ability to charge from 10-80% in 10.5 minutes via DC fast charging. On the other hand, the Qilin pack takes 15 minutes for the same charging capacity. Additionally, the 7X has V2L capability that supply electricity up to 60 kW DC or 3.3 kW AC through its 800-Volt architecture.

It measures in at 4,825 mm long, 1,930 mm wide and 1,666 mm tall with a wheelbase of 2,925 mm, placing squarely between the Tesla Model Y and BYD Sealion 7 in terms of size.
In terms of display equipment, the 7X packs a 13.02-inch digital instrument cluster that sits next to a 16-inch LED screen for the infotainment feeding a 21-speaker sound system. Occupants will have access to dual Qi wireless chargers while being cossetted by Nappa leather upholstery.
