Video: Jetour Dashing now in Malaysia – C-segment SUV from RM110k!

The first Jetour model has been launched in Malaysia and it’s the Jetour Dashing, with a dashingly attractive price for its two variants, RM109,800 for the Comfort variant and RM116,800 for the Prime variant – even if these prices exclude registration fee, hire purchase processing fee, road tax and insurance.

Befitting its name, the Jetour Dashing also sports a dashingly designed exterior, highlighted by its “Mecha-Eyes” daytime running lights (DRLs), with its LED headlights integrated into the front bumper with a large front grille.

Inside, there’s a large LCD display with separate 10.25-inch sections for the touchscreen infotainment and driver’s digital gauge cluster. On the centre console, there is a 50W wireless phone charger and a rotary dial to adjust vehicle functions.

The Jetour Dashing is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 156 hp and 230 Nm, paired with a six-speed dual-clutch transmission. However, the carmaker has not disclosed official 0-100 km/h times or top speed.

Standard safety features on the Jetour Dashing include four airbags, cruise control, a reverse camera with parking guidelines, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and an adjustable overspeed alarm. The Prime variant enhances this with six airbags, a 360-degree surround view camera, and blind spot monitoring.

The Jetour Dashing will not be the only model launched this year, as the company has plans to launch the Jetour 7-seater SUV and Jetour EV model later this year. Additionally, Jetour also plans to launch the Jetour T1 and T2, and three undisclosed models, one of which is a pickup truck.
