Following its local debut last month, BMW Malaysia has now revealed the official pricing for the all-new G60-generation 2025 BMW 530i M Sport. Locally assembled in Kulim, Kedah, the 2025 BMW 530i starts at RM399,800 on-the-road without insurance, and with the standard two-year warranty. Opting for the five year extended warranty and service package raises the price up to RM430,100.
Compared to the BMW 520i M Sport, the new range-topping petrol variant comes in some RM42,000 dearer. The gap widens to RM59k when compared to the base model 520i.
For that extra dough, you’ll be getting a more powerful engine underneath the bonnet, coming in the form of a B48 2.0-litre turbocharged inline-four mill with 48V mild hybrid assistance for a total output of 258 hp and 400 Nm of torque.
The extra firepower help drop the century sprint time from 7.5 seconds on the 520i down to 6.2 seconds on the 530i. Top speed has also similarly been raised to 250 km/h, as opposed to 230 km/h on the lesser sibling. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a standard eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic gearbox.
The BMW 530i M Sport also gains an Adaptive Suspension Professional setup, which features dynamic damper control and integral active steering – the latter referring to the rear-wheel steering system of up to 2.5 degrees, improving on the executive sedan’s manoeuvrability in tight city streets, and stability on the highways.
And to set the 530i M Sport apart as the range-topping BMW 5-er, it also gets a larger set of 20-inch style 938M light alloy wheels, as well as a satin aluminium line trim on the outside, instead of the high-gloss Shadowline on the 520i M Sport. There’s also the 655W 18-speaker Bowers and Wilkins sound system on the inside, which is one rung higher than the 520i’s Harman Kardon setup.

Otherwise, everything else is identical to the 520i M Sport, including (obviously) the M Sport styling kit, Iconic Glow kidney grille surrounds, adaptive LED headlights, the BMW Curved Display on the inside that combines the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 14.9-inch central infotainment touchscreen under one curved piece of glass, the aluminium rhombicle interior trim, Merino leather upholstery in black or Copper Brown, both paired with Atlas Grey accents, a four-zone climate control system with separate rear control panel, as well as the powered front sports seats.
The screens on the inside also now run on the new BMW iDrive 8.5 operating system, which boasts a more intuitive user interface, alongside connectivity upgrades.
The Driving Assistance Plus advanced driver assistance package is also standard, which includes adaptive cruise control with stop-go functionality, autonomous braking with pedestrian detection, Steering and Lane Control Assistant, lane departure and lane change alert, as well as Parking Assistant Plus which consists of Active Park Distance Control, Reversing Assistant, Lateral Parking Aid, Surround View System, Remote 3D View, and BMW Drive Recorder.
The BMW 530i M Sport is available in Malaysia in five exterior colour choices, namely Black Sapphire Metallic, Mineral White Metallic, Cape York Green Metallic, Brooklyn Grey Metallic, and Phytonic Blue Metallic.
