2025 BMW 530i M Sport announced for Malaysia – CKD, 2.0T MHEV, est. from RM400k


BMW Malaysia has announced the BMW 530i M Sport, the second internal combustion engine model of the BMW 5 Series as a locally assembled (CKD) model in Malaysia. Estimated pricing for the BMW 530i M Sport in Malaysia is from RM400,000.

With an exterior that is virtually identical to the 520i M Sport, the BMW 530i M Sport also features the M Sport bodykit with a more aggressive design for the front and rear bumpers. However, the 530i M Sport is equipped with bigger 20-inch M light alloy wheels in style 938M which features an intricate multi-spoke design.

Standard exterior equipment of the BMW 530i M Sport include:

  • BMW Iconic Glow package with fully-illuminated kidney grille frame
  • LED headlights and taillights
  • Style 938M 20-inch M light alloy wheels
  • M Sport Package exterior

The 530i M Sport’s interior closely resembles that of the 520i M Sport, featuring a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment display. Like the 520i M Sport, the BMW Interaction Bar in the 530i M Sport is finished in dark silver M accent, adding a touch of sportiness to the cabin.

The BMW 530i M Sport is propelled by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine, generating 258 hp and 400 Nm. This is supplemented with a 48-volt mild hybrid system, paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox sending power to the rear wheels.

This allows the 530i M Sport to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km/h. The BMW 530i M Sport is also equipped with adaptive suspension professional which features dynamic damper control and integral active steering.

For safety equipment, the 530i M Sport is equipped with Driving Assistant Plus and Parking Assistant Plus. These include features such as:

  • Adaptive cruise control (ACC) with stop-go function
  • Lane departure warning (LDA)
  • Lane keep assist (LKA)
  • Front collision warning with pedestrian warning
