Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has introduced a 200-unit limited edition model of the Mitsubishi Xpander, all of which come equipped with additional dealer-optional accessories. The “upgraded” Mitsubishi Xpander is based on the base variant, and are priced RM5k more than the standard car at RM104,980.
The company says that these accessorised units “strike the perfect balance between style, functionality, and affordability”, as you’ll be getting some of the Plus variant’s creature comfort items, but at a lower entry price.
This latest offering from MMM includes features revolving around safety, one of which being the All-Round Monitor (ARM) to provide a full 360-degree view around the Mitsubishi Xpander’s surroundings. Additionally, a front and rear driving video recorder (dashcam) is also included as part of the package.
Inside, the fabric seats have now been reupholstered in leatherette. But if you’re hoping that it’ll also stand out from the outside, tough luck, because the limited edition “upgraded” Xpanders are only available in a sole Red Metallic colour.
Aside from these items, the rest of the car remains exactly the same as before, including the 1.5-litre engine with 103 hp and 141 Nm of torque paired together with a 4-speed automatic transmission is still present.
Other standard equipment here include the automatic LED headlights with daytime-running lights, 17-inch wheels, as well as a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment display inside with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
