The fully electric (EV) Leapmotor C10 has achieved a full five-star rating in the Euro NCAP (European New Car Assessment Programme) safety tests.
Achieving scores of 89% for adult occupant protection and 85% for child occupant protection, the Euro NCAP report highlighted the Leapmotor C10’s ability to maintain cabin integrity in various crash tests, including the demanding side pole impact, which simulates a collision with a tree or pole.
This performance is attributed to the C10’s high-strength structure, which is engineered to effectively absorb and distribute crash forces, minimising the impact on occupants.
In the Safety Assist category, the Leapmotor C10 scored 76%, thanks to its advanced technologies. ASEAN NCAP noted its highly effective autonomous emergency braking (AEB) system, which proved successful in preventing collisions with other vehicles during testing.

Furthermore, the C10’s lane keep assist (LKA) system gently corrects the SUV if it starts to drift out of its lane, contributing to the high score in this category. The C10 also demonstrated good performance in protecting vulnerable road users, achieving a score of 77%.
The Leapmotor C10 is equipped with a comprehensive suite of in-house developed advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) which includes, adaptive cruise control (ACC), lane centering control (LCC), traffic jam assist (TJA) and advanced driver distraction warning (ADDW).
Powering the Leapmotor C10 is a single rear-mounted electric motor producing 218 hp and 320 Nm, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in 7.5 seconds. Equipped with a 69.9 kWh battery pack, the C10 has a WLTP-rated range of 424 km.
The Leapmotor C10 supports a max AC charging rate of 6.6 kW and a max DC charging rate of 84 kW, with the latter allowing a charging time from 30%-80% in just 30 minutes.
Available as a single variant, the Leapmotor C10 is priced from RM159,000, and includes a six-year/150,000 km vehicle warranty (four-year factory warranty plus two-year extended), and an eight-year/160,000 km battery warranty.
