New entry-level Audi Q4 35 e-tron debuts, RWD with up to 365km range

Audi has introduced the Q4 35 e-tron, a new entry-level option within the Q4 e-tron range. This addition aims to broaden the appeal of the electric SUV by offering a more accessible price point.

It is being priced from 45,600 Euro (approx. RM231k) for the Q4 35 e-tron and 47,600 Euro (approx. RM241k) for the Q4 Sportback. Deliveries for the new Q4 35 e-tron variant are set to begin in July 2024.

Powered by an electric motor producing 125 kW (170 hp), the Q4 35 e-tron features a 55 kWh battery pack, enabling a range of up to 355 km for the compact SUV and 365 km for the Sportback variant on a single charge. Power is sent to the rear wheels (RWD), allowing for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 9 seconds with a top speed of 160 km/h. The vehicle supports DC fast charging, enabling a charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 25 minutes. The maximum DC charging power is 145 kW.

The vehicle comes equipped with a range of features, including Audi’s MMI navigation plus system, Audi Connect connectivity, and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. The boot lid features electric operation with optional foot gesture activation for hands-free access. Heated front seats are also included as standard.

The Audi Q4 e-tron series, including the Q4 35 e-tron model, will be equipped with the Audi Application Store starting in July. This in-car platform allows users to access a variety of applications, such as news, podcasts, sports, games, and video entertainment, directly through the vehicle’s Multi-Media Interface (MMI) without relying on a smartphone. Audi will provide a complimentary one-year data package of 25 GB, activated through Cubic Telecom. The vehicle’s external antenna ensures a stable and reliable data connection, preserving the smartphone’s battery life. Additionally, the integration of ChatGPT into the online voice input is available as well.

On the safety side, the Q4 35 e-tron is stocked with plenty of driver-assistance (ADAS) features, such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and automated emergency braking.
