30 Proton e.MAS dealerships targeted by 2025, PRO-NET on the hunt for new dealers


Not long after taking the reigns in managing the Proton e.MAS sub-brand, PRO-NET is now on the lookout for new dealers in Malaysia for the new EV sub-brand. The company targets to achieve 30 dealerships nationwide by 2025, with 18 dealerships established so far.

Upon launching the new EV sub-brand in June, 17 dealerships were announced through a signing ceremony. As of today (July 5, 2024), 18 Proton e.MAS dealerships have been confirmed, represented by 16 dealers. The spread of the 18 dealerships nationwide are:

  • 3 in Kuala Lumpur
  • 4 in Selangor
  • 2 in Johor
  • 3 in Perak
  • 2 in Pulau Pinang
  • 1 in Kedah
  • 1 in Kelantan
  • 1 in Pahang
  • 1 in Sabah

As such, PRO-NET is looking to add another 12 dealerships to the list by 2025. Specifically, the company is looking to set up new dealerships in the following areas (whichever comes first):

  • Alor Setar
  • Kuala Terengganu
  • Selangor
  • Kuala Lumpur
  • Seremban
  • Melaka
  • Johor Bahru
  • Batu Pahat
  • Muar
  • Kuching
  • Sibu
  • Bintulu
  • Miri
  • Sandakan
  • Tawau

Within the 30 dealerships targeted for Proton e.MAS are 1S, 2S, and 3S centres. Proton says that the development of the new outlets signify its dedication to kickstarting a fully-fledged, comprehensive ecosystem, ensuring readiness for future Proton e.MAS owners.
