BMW Malaysia has just launched the 2024 BMW iX2 xDrive30. Essentially the all-electric version of the second generation BMW X2, the Sports Activity CoupĂ© (SAC), as the carmaker calls it, is priced at RM297,000, on-the-road, without insurance, and inclusive of the brand’s BMW Service & Repair Inclusive (BSRI) that costs RM14,200 and comes with a 5-year extended warranty and service package.
On the outside, the 2024 BMW iX2 in Malaysia sports a redesigned closed-off illuminated BMW kidney grille which comes with a black mesh grille and a black high-gloss kidney frame. Also included are a pair of adaptive LED headlights, LED taillights, 20-inch M light alloy wheels, and a front apron that comes with a black radiator grille in black high gloss. Exterior colour options available with the 2024 BMW iX2 include Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Skyscraper Grey, Cape York Green, Fire Red, M Portimau Blue, and M Brooklyn Grey.

Powering the 2024 BMW iX2 xDrive30 in Malaysia is a dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) setup that puts out 313 hp, along with 7 hp of boost. This allows the coupé SUV to sprint from a standstill to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds and achieve an electronically limited top speed of 180 km/h.

Also included is the BMW Curved Display which sports a 10.25-inch digital instrument display and a 10.7-inch touchscreen infotainment display that runs on the brand’s latest BMW Operating System 9.
The operating system features the BMW iDrive display and is equipped with the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant as well as a control system with QuickSelect, which is based, for the first time, on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP). Upholstery options offered with the BMW iX2 xDrive30 include “Veganza” leather alternative in M Alcantara (Black) with Contrast Stitching Blue, Perforated Black, Perforated Coral Red/Black, Perforated Atlas Grey/Smoke White, and Perforated Mocha.
